Chuck Williams hosts an interactive experience with a group of seasoned, award-winning singer/songwriters as they perform their original music, tell about the songs’ origins, explain their songwriting techniques, discuss changes in the music industry, and answer questions from the audience – noteworthy indeed!

About the Artists

Chuck Williams has been appearing throughout New England and in recent years has gone coast to coast with his music. Raised in Toledo, Ohio, Chuck has lived most of his adult life in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, moving to the Buzzards Bay shoreline in 2002.  He has been traveling to coffeehouses, performing arts centers, and festivals sowing seeds of his songs along the way. There is something here that a lot of people are going to latch on to, especially in these trying times. Chuck has had the pleasure of opening for national touring artists such as Cheryl Wheeler, Jimmy LeFave, Rod McDonald, Steve Forbert, Pegi Young & the Survivors amongst others.

Louis Leeman is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who lives in Swansea, MA. He has been a member of the Southeastern New England music scene since the 70s and has had the opportunity to play gigs you wouldn’t believe, good and bad.  The good ones have been getting to be the opener for Tom Rush, John Mayall, Leon Russell, Darrell Scott, and others. These performances were at The Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River. Mike Laureanno is a singer/songwriter who hails from Fall River, MA. A passionate performer, Mike’s songs are visceral and evocative. He has performed on the main stage at folk festivals throughout the country like the New Bedford Folk Festival and the Kerrville, TX Folk Festival. He has four CDs of original songs out and has won several songwriting contests including the 2014 Stone Soup / Rhode Island Songwriters Association (RISA).

Originally from Boston, Eddie Dillon of Fairhaven, Massachusetts is a well-known entertainer and songwriter who has performed many years in Irish folk clubs and festivals throughout the Northeast. A multi-instrumentalist, Dillon plays the guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bass. At home on any stage, Dillon combines his instrumental virtuosity with a keen wit for an original and entertaining performance. Dillon’s love of comedy always shines and his professional stage delivery marks the presence of a veteran performer. With over thirty-five years of entertaining audiences in every venue, Dillon is the only American to have toured with the Clancy Brothers and was a member of the Clancy family reunion performance at the world’s largest Irish festival in Milwaukee, WI.
