About the Band
The Old Country Band is excited to bring the sounds from the foundational eras of country and western music to modern ears. Formed in late 2024, the members of the band bring a diverse range of musical experiences and accomplishments in expressing their shared respect and love for the classic sounds of Western Swing, cowboy songs, and country standards from the 1940s-1970s. Their collective backgrounds include decades of experience in musical settings focused on a wide range of musical genres beyond country and western, including pop, folk, rock, punk, new wave, electronica, Celtic, Broadway, jazz, and musical theater.
