About the Artists
Bob Anderson
Lead Vocals / Guitars
Fronted by industry veteran known for his powerhouse vocals, Bob Anderson delivers the top hits of both Van Halen catalogs. Bob’s extensive career goes back to his days as lead vocalist in the original recording band “The Citizens”; then onto a production contract with the same producer for Jon Bonjovi, The Talking Heads & other major artists. With his own songs featured in the film “She’s Back” starring Carey Fisher & Robert Joy, this lead to notoriety in the late 80’s.
After a break, Bob focused on the New England scene with his first “local” project – Nasty Habits – which was instantly popular. More recently, Bob’s classic rock band Gunpowder & Lead has played from RI up thru Maine, including repeat requests at Laconia’s Bike week.
Along with fronting Gunpowder & Lead and Fair Warning Boston, Bob introduced his John Mellencamp tribute PINK HOUSES which instantly broke all attendance records with performances at venues such as MGM Springfield right out of the gate. In addition, Bob has performed at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den for several years and can be heard on WATD FM when hosting show “Local & National Talent Spotlight”.
